Tour & Progress

Here are shots of progress consolidated into one page. All of the before shots are real life so don’t be shocked by the complete disarray of it all; ohh the clutter.

Living room: This room used to be my grandparents bedroom, I was planning on turning it into an office/spare bedroom until my Wedding Planner turned Interior Designer, Denise, suggested that we use it as our livingroom. I was skeptical at first but JC jumped all over the idea. Sure enough, we hauled our old ratty couch and clutter into the old bedroom.

Here’s some before and progress pictures at different angles.

Diningroom:
Formally the living room. It’s odd long shape gave it a slightly claustrophobic ambiance. You’ll have to imagine the couch pushed up against the stair wall OR just look at the wear in the carpet. See the ghostly shadow of where the couch used to be?

Office:
This little hallway room has always been used as an office. Our plan is to get the most out of this cozy space by down sizing the furniture. The desk below, that I nicknamed “the monstrosity”, has found a new home in JC’s office at work. We (the desk and I) are both happy with its new home.

We have yet to tackle the many other areas of our house: bathroom, master bedroom, spare bedroom, kitchen, entryway, basement, and lot’s of little nooks & crannies.

Here are some of those nooks and crannies that haven’t been graced with our handywork obsessive compulsiveness yet. Just look at them… they’re like sitting ducks.

Bathroom:
In all it’s teensy wonder (:

Spare Bedroom:
My aunt painted this room when she was younger.
Good Morning Sunshine! Wow – just… wow.

There you have it, quite the gem, hmm? I seriously love how little our house is. It helps with not feeling overwhelmed while tackling projects.
